To empower individuals from all backgrounds who are motivated to grow their skills and become advocates for cybersecurity by putting them in touch with others who have similar goals as well as seasoned security professionals to help guide them on this journey. Through mentorship, motivational learning, and open dialogue, we aim to cultivate the next generation of cybersecurity champions, promoting growth and collaboration to ultimately reduce cybersecurity risk at our companies, and across the world.
Community Roles
In LC/DC, security professionals are referred to as “Specialists”, while non-security professionals are “Champions.” Together they have the opportunity to build relationships, mentor each other, and help achieve their personal and professional goals in the cybersecurity world.
